Riley Nixon race day charity event

It’s a race to the end of the year now and nothing like a fantastic race day at Adelaide’s Morphetville Race Course to get you in the starting blocks for December.

Roadside Services is again organising the Riley Nixon Industry Fundraising Race Day on Saturday 1 December from noon to 5.30pm with a full day of great food, drinks and entertainment in the upper Tapestry Pavilion.

Individuals and companies looking for a great pre-Christmas gathering, while also supporting a charity event, can purchase individual tickets or a table to attend the event. Tables are still available.

Cost for industry partners and associate members is $150 per person (mixed seating) or buy a table of 10 for $1500 which companies can have branded as a corporate table.

A sumptuous buffet lunch will be served and attendees wanting to upgrade to a spirits package can do so for an additional $25.

TV sports presenter Kym Dillon will host the day.

An outstanding collection of auction items are up for grabs including a signed Chelsea Football Club ball.

The Riley Nixon Industry Fundraising race day is organised by Roadside Services South Australia managing director Craig Woods and supported by partner companies Action Line Marking, ATR, Fuso Daimler Trucks Adelaide and Plumbing and Pipeline Solutions.

This is the fourth year Roadside Services has organised the event which has raised $10,000 in its first year and increased the fundraising each year for Riley Nixon, who contracted meningococcal and resulted in his limbs needing to be amputated.
“We’re expecting to raise in excess of $14,000 this year and we’re keen to get as many people attending as possible. To date 180 people are booked in for the day.
