Quality and innovation is the word

Roadside Services and Solutions once again is the major sponsor of the 2018 Local Government Association Roads & Works Conference held at Tanunda, South Australia.

This is the 6th year the company has participated in the conference.

With its close connections to councils across South Australia and indeed across Australia, Roadside values the good relationship it has formed with councils providing quality work in the installation of signs, guardrails, linemarking, safety products, bollards and more.

Roadside Director Craig Woods says, “This is a great opportunity to catch up and meet with many council representatives we talk to on the phone and exchange emails and only catch up with when opportunities like this arise.

“We’re proud to be a major sponsor of the conference.”

Roadside staff are normally seen working hammer and tongs making Australian roads safe with signage, guardrails, linemarking and more, but at the conference the team swapped their hammer and tongs for aprons and tongs of another variety, to serve up a delicious barbecue breakfast of sausages, bacon and eggs to fuel 300 delegates for the day ahead.

Inside the exhibition marquee, Roadside’s stand showcased its signs, guard rails, linemarking, safety products, bollards and more.

Recently, engaging with a licensed builder and engineer, Roadside now also provides civil works for building and property maintenance.

In the conference presentation room, together with industry partner 3M, for whom Roadside is a Diamond Certified Sign Manufacturer and also a Digital Certified Sign Manufacturer, the message focussed strongly on Roadside’s delivery of quality and innovation.

Roadside permanent road signs are covered by 3M, 12 year full replacement warranty.

Among the company’s most recent achievements include road construction for Knox City Council;

road signage upgrade for NEMA (North Eastern Maintenance Alliance); timetable changes for South Australia Public Transport Services and a three-year sign supply contract for South Australia Power Networks.

Roadside is now ISO certified for Quality 9001; Environment 14001; OHS 18001.
